Pupil well-being matters.
There has been lots of research into the link between pupil well-being and attainment. In the Summer of 2015 The Good Childhood Report revealed that pupils in England were amongst the ‘most unhappy’ pupils in the world. The A+ Programme works on the assumption that well-being is at the core of human flourishing, and therefore we have created a simple 3 question survey that can be used in conjunction with our A+ programme. This enables professionals and volunteers alike to measure the distance travelled from the start to the end of the intervention; therefore evidencing the impact of the work on the pupils’ well-being.
Our free and simple to use survey is suitable for both Primary and Secondary pupils, and is available to download from the TES website.
